How AI is used
GOODNIGHT JAR uses AI to shape reflections. Reviewed text or voice transcripts are sent securely for that purpose and are not used to train models. Saving a jar remains your choice, and the reflection works whether you save it or not.

GOODNIGHT JAR
GOODNIGHT JAR is a quiet place to put something down at night, and meet it gently again in the morning.
Write or speak what is circling, answer a few gentle prompts, then seal the jar. It rests for the night and returns in the morning with a grounded reflection and one small next step when one is genuinely useful.
AI helps shape the questions and reflections. You stay in control of what you share, what you save, and when you have shared enough.

A worry, a bright idea, a memory, an unfinished thought or something you simply do not want to forget.
Choose when you have shared enough, take one small wind-down if it helps, and let the jar hold the rest overnight.
Come back to a tiny morning smile, a grounded reflection and one gentle next step when there is actually something to do.

The evening ritual
The same simple story shown in the app: share what is there, seal the jar, return in daylight, then keep only what helps.

Type it, speak it or begin with a gentle prompt. GOODNIGHT JAR follows what you actually shared without assuming every night starts with a problem.

You decide when you have shared enough. Close the ritual, choose a small wind-down if it helps, and let the jar hold the rest overnight.

Meet the night again in daylight with a little morning wisdom, a grounded reflection and one small next step when one is useful.

Save the jar if you want it, choose tonight’s reminder gently, give a small feedback signal if useful, then leave the rest behind.
The morning return
Morning is not a scorecard. It is a softer second look at whatever you left in the jar.
GOODNIGHT JAR can offer a tiny morning smile, a short reflection and one grounded next step when one is genuinely useful.
If you choose to use Sleep Journey, your own morning check-ins and GOODNIGHT JAR times can gently show patterns over time. It does not measure sleep stages, actual sleep duration or provide a clinical sleep score.

Privacy
GOODNIGHT JAR uses AI to shape reflections. Reviewed text or voice transcripts are sent securely for that purpose and are not used to train models. Saving a jar remains your choice, and the reflection works whether you save it or not.
GOODNIGHT JAR does not save raw audio or send raw audio to its reflection AI. Depending on the device and settings, speech recognition may use an Apple, Google or other platform speech service. The transcript can be reviewed and edited before it is added to a jar.
GOODNIGHT JAR can remember which kinds of questions, wind-downs or morning actions seem useful, helping it repeat itself less over time. These bounded patterns remain connected to the installation rather than becoming a server-side profile of your life.
You can inspect, forget or clear remembered patterns, recommendation history, saved jars, personal details or all GOODNIGHT JAR data whenever you choose.
GOODNIGHT JAR may interrupt the ordinary ritual when an entry appears to require real-world support. These automated checks are limited and may be wrong. GOODNIGHT JAR is not crisis monitoring, therapy, diagnosis or treatment, and it must not be relied upon to detect an emergency.
Thoughts, plans and unfinished conversations all decide to work the night shift.
Some nights hold excitement, creativity or something worth remembering — not only worry.
Write a sentence, speak for a moment, or follow one helpful question.
A reminder, a small wind-down, an overnight pause and a morning return — without streaks, badges or guilt.
Made with ADHD, restless and overactive minds in mind — but spacious enough for lighter nights too.
